Events
Young
People's Weekend - 22nd-23rd October
If you're aged 13-24, join us for a fun-filled weekend away
where you can meet other young people with heart conditions.
Places are going fast so book your place
soon to make sure you can take
part.
Winter
Wonderland Break - 27th-28th November
We're offering places to 20 heart families at our
sparkling seasonal
break.
"Thank you for a really
wonderful weekend, we all had a fantastic time and everyone
was so friendly. We have had a really awful last year and
this weekend has gone a long way to help us through it
all!"

Carols in Trafalgar Square - 20th
December from
6-7pm
Join the
acclaimed ROCK CHOIR and CHF to sing carols under the giant
Christmas Tree in Trafalgar
Square. We always need more
supporters to shake buckets to raise money to help children
with heart conditions. If you could help, please get in
touch .
CHF would
love to put on more events for families and young people, but
our budget is limited. If you'd like to raise money to give families a
much-needed break, why not get in touch today?
Double your donation in
December!
The Big Give is
a national scheme that increases the value of donations to
charity. This year, if you donate to CHF through the Big Give
on 5 and 6 December, every £1
could be worth £2 to provide
vital services for heart families. So why not get together
with your friends, school or colleagues to raise funds and
donate them through the Big Give?
Upgrade your INR
machine
If you use an INR machine you
will need to upgrade to the new
CoaguChek®XS meter because soon the
old strips will not be available. We have secured a 50%
discount for heart families so get in touch to find out
more.

Manager
Thank you to everyone who has given amazing support to heart
families this summer! We have loved meeting so many of you at
balls, gigs, runs, bike rides and teddy bears' picnics. Heart
children really need your support, so if you would like to do
something to raise money in the autumn, please get in touch
and double the value of your donation with The Big Give on
5-6 December.
We really appreciate everyone who volunteers their time and
their skills. We've been very grateful to Liz Stevens who has
reviewed all our policies for working with children and
families over the past few months. We wish Liz every success
as she starts her new job.
